Storage Server FAQ

We support RAID-1, RAID-5, RAID-6, RAID-10, and RAID-60 via hardware LSI/Avago controllers. Software RAID via ZFS (including RAIDZ, RAIDZ2, RAIDZ3) and Linux MD is also fully supported and can be pre-configured on your server.
Yes. We can pre-install TrueNAS, OpenMediaVault, or Ceph for NAS deployments. For SAN, all servers support iSCSI and Fibre Channel configurations with dedicated private VLANs for block storage access between your compute and storage nodes.
All drives are hot-swappable. Our monitoring detects failing drives via SMART data before they fail. Our NOC team replaces failed drives within 2 hours under our hardware SLA. RAID ensures no data loss for single or dual drive failures depending on your RAID level.
Yes. ZFS replication over SSH can sync data to a secondary storage server in another datacenter. We also offer S3-compatible object storage as a backup target, and can configure rsync, Veeam, or Bacula for scheduled off-site backups.
